Halloween Ghost Bar
Enjoying Halloween doesn't end when we grow up, for many adulthood is when Halloween becomes most enjoyable, especially for those who have a knack for hosting parties and love serving mixed drinks. I've included the best 5 mixed drink recipes on the planet. As always drink responsibly.
Grim Reaper (aka long island ice tea)
Made with four types of alcohol makes the Grim Reaper one of Halloweens's favorite mixed drinks.
- 1/2 once Vodka, 1/2 ounce Gin, 1/2 ounce White Rum, 1/2 ounce Tequila, 1/2 ounce Triple Sec and a splash of Cola. Mix in a tall glass with ice, garnish with a lemon wedge. After drinking 6 of these bad boys in one night the Grim Reaper may be knocking on your door.
Werewolf (aka Screw driver)
This drink has been around for 100 million years and it's so easy to make, even a stupid werewolf can't screw it up! (No pun intended.)
- 1 1/2 to 2 ounces Vodka, 4 1/2 to 5 ounces Orange Juice and 1 tsp Lemon Juice. Mix in glass with ice and stir. Add a dash of red blue coloring to make this drink look cool.
If you get board with the werewolf, why not jazz it up with Peach Schnapps!
- 1 ounce Peach Schnapps, 2 ounces Vodka, 4 to 5 ounces Orange Juice. Mix in tall glass with ice, enjoy!
Green Mucus (aka grass hopper)
A colorful mixed drink with a rich creamy taste, and looks gross too!
-1/2 to 3/4 ounces green Creme de Menthe, 1/2 to 3/4 ounces White Cream de Cacao, 3/4 light cream. Mix briefly with crushed ice.
The Vampire (aka white russian)
The origin of this drink is unknown. However, After drinking a few of these bad boys, you may start craving human blood.
- 1 to 1 1/2 Ounces Vodka, 3/4 ounce Kahlua. Mix Vodka and Kahlua together in a glass with ice, stir lightly. Add 3/4 Light Cream or Milk. Add red food coloring to make this drink blood fun.
Zombie (aka zombie)
This drink has been around since the first Zombie was spoted in New York City in 1972. And after consuming a few of these drinks, you too will become a flesh eating Zombie, enjoy!
-Pour 1 oz light rum, 1 oz dark rum, 1/2 oz creme de almond and 1/2 oz triple sec into an ice-filled glass. Almost-fill with equal parts of sweet and sour and orange juice. Add a large straw, and serve unstirred.
